Get to know this service
The Scottish Infected Blood Forum is the only recognised charity in Scotland supporting people infected with Hepatitis C as a result of NHS treatment with contaminated blood and blood products. This includes people who received blood transfusions, people with haemophilia, and their family members.
The forum connects and supports people affected by contaminated NHS blood, offering plain, practical and independent information on living with a virus. It covers topics such as understanding viral infections, living well with a virus, and sharing experiences with others affected.
It also provides information on the Penrose Inquiry into contaminated blood, and on what people can do to make a difference. Membership is free and gives access to a member forum for those affected.
About
The Scottish Infected Blood Forum supports people in Scotland infected with hepatitis C, hepatitis B or HIV from contaminated NHS blood or blood products, plus their families and carers.
