LGBT Unity Glasgow supports LGBTQIA+ refugees, asylum seekers and other migrants, offering guidance, advocacy and safe spaces. Founded in 2014, it became a registered charity in 2022.
The organisation creates welcoming spaces for social interaction and emotional support, and builds connections with LGBTQIA+ and refugee organisations. It also campaigns for the rights and dignity of LGBTQIA+ refugees and asylum seekers.
LGBT Unity Glasgow takes part in events such as Glasgow Pride, and has run projects including a short film made with LGBTQIA+ refugees and asylum seekers.
