Why this exists

Finding support should not require knowing the right charity-sector term, searching five websites or guessing whether an old directory entry is still current. The directory brings those paths together and makes the limits of the information visible.

A listing is not a guarantee that a service is safe or suitable for every person. Verification means we have evidence that the organisation exists and serves the community in the way described. The listing still tells you what was checked and when.
