About
Queer Tango London practises queer tango, a couple dance that began in Argentina and Uruguay, where dancers choose whether to lead or follow based on personal preference rather than gender. Based in London, the group supports the LGBTQIA+ community and welcomes anyone sympathetic to its goals, promoting the idea that anyone can dance with anyone regardless of gender or sexuality. It hosts regular tango sessions, workshops and social milongas open to all skill levels, including beginners.
