About
Newcastle Frontrunners is a running club based in Newcastle upon Tyne, serving the north-east of England and welcoming members from the LGBTQIA+ community and their allies. It belongs to the International Frontrunners network, a family of inclusive running clubs open to people from all parts of the community, and works to reduce homophobia and improve participation in sport and running for LGBTQIA+ communities. The club runs training sessions such as strength and conditioning, run development, tempo runs, and long and easy runs, alongside social events including monthly Rainbow Runs and support for local parkruns. It has also won several awards for its contributions to running communities.
