Outreach Youth provides youth work for young LGBTQIA+ people across Suffolk, including regular youth groups in Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds and Brandon. These groups offer a social, informative and safe supportive space for young people aged 11 to 17.
Sessions include workshops on topics such as housing, relationships, mental health, gender and sexuality, and keeping safe, alongside games, socials, trips and creative activities. The charity also offers one-to-one support, social action projects, family support and online support.
Outreach Youth works in partnership with schools, colleges, and statutory and voluntary sector providers. It also supports parents and carers whose children identify as LGBTQIA+, and runs LGBTQIA+ History Month events led by young people.
