About
LGBT Youth Scotland supports LGBTQIA+ young people aged 13 to 25 through youth groups, one-to-one coaching, outreach, participation opportunities, education and online support. This work aims to reduce isolation and improve wellbeing, breaking down barriers that affect young people's safety, health and happiness, and helping them move towards positive destinations in life, work and education. The charity also runs the LGBT Charter, an equality accreditation programme that helps make the places where young people live, learn and work safer and more inclusive. Alongside this, it offers resources and information for young LGBTQIA+ people in Scotland, including local group finders, awareness training for professionals, and a mailing list for newsletters.
