LEAP Sports Scotland is Scotland’s LGBTIQ+ sports charity. We work for greater inclusion for lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, intersex, queer and other diversely identifying people in sport (LGBTIQ+), and against discrimination based on sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, and sex characteristics, in sport and physical activity. LEAP Sports exists to dismantle the structural, social, and individual barriers that prevent LGBTIQ+ people from accessing, participating in, excelling in, and enjoying sport. We do this through: growing participation and engagement in sport and physical activity for LGBTIQ+ people in Scotland. activating the sport and physical activity sector to better include and meet the needs of LGBTIQ+ people. increasing influence of, and advocacy for, LGBTIQ+ people to improve the whole sporting system in Scotland and beyond. and influence societal change through sport and physical activity.
