About
LEAP Sports Scotland is Scotland's LGBTIQ+ sports charity, working for greater inclusion of lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, intersex and queer people, along with others who identify diversely, in sport. It challenges discrimination based on sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, and sex characteristics within sport and physical activity. The charity addresses the structural, social and individual barriers that stop LGBTIQ+ people from accessing, taking part in, enjoying and excelling at sport, and works to grow participation and engagement in physical activity across Scotland. It also works with the sport sector to help it become more inclusive of LGBTIQ+ people, running activities, training and events such as the Pride Youth Games and Festival Fortnight.
