Get to know this service
Just Like Us works with schools and young people to tackle anti-LGBTQIA+ bullying and support LGBTQIA+ youth. It sends recent LGBTQIA+ school leavers into schools for talks and workshops that champion equality and challenge prejudice.
Its national initiative, School Diversity Week, empowers pupils to run events tackling homophobia, biphobia and transphobia. The charity also trains teachers to help students set up Pride Groups, which are student-led clubs for LGBTQIA+ students and allies.
Just Like Us offers resources, training and support for schools and young people, including e-learning courses, termly training and a staff network. It encourages donations to fund its work.
