About
Just Like Us is an LGBTQIA+ charity that works with schools and young people across the UK to tackle bullying and support LGBTQIA+ youth. It sends recent LGBTQIA+ school leavers into schools to give talks and workshops that champion LGBTQIA+ equality and challenge prejudice. The charity runs School Diversity Week, a national initiative that helps pupils organise their own events tackling homophobia, biphobia and transphobia, and trains teachers to support students setting up Pride Groups, student-led clubs open to LGBTQIA+ pupils and their allies. It also offers resources, training and support for teachers, parents and young people to promote inclusion and empower LGBTQIA+ individuals.
