About

The Lavender Cafe Orchestra offers LGBTQIA+ people and the wider community a safe space to practise and perform music and dance. Through its performances, it raises awareness of discrimination towards LGBTQIA+ people, promotes social inclusion, and helps educate the wider population about LGBTQIA+ issues. It also hosts balls, tea-dances and special events for the LGBTQIA+ communities of Yorkshire and beyond.
