South Wales Gay Men's Chorus is a choir based in Cardiff that welcomes singers of any musical background. It aims to promote appreciation and education in music for the public, with particular but not exclusive reference to the LGBTQIA+ community. It also promotes equality and diversity for public benefit, with particular reference to the LGBTQIA+ community.
The choir rehearses on Thursdays at Roath Church House, Cardiff, and says people can just show up or get in touch for more information. It performs at local events and collaborates with other organisations, and also supports LGBTQIA+ and wider community causes through its performances.
The chorus has hosted a Queer Summer Social bringing together LGBTQIA+ organisations from across South Wales to share ideas and build connections. It has also represented Wales at the Various Voices festival, a European LGBTQIA+ choir festival held in Brussels.
