Prois works at the intersection of Queerness and Gaelicness, focusing on linguistic diversity and how LGBTQIA2+ and Gaelic identities overlap. It advances education to tackle discrimination and disadvantage affecting the Queer Gaelic community, and supports mental and sexual health for this group. The organisation raises awareness of LGBTQIA2+ issues, Gaelic issues, and how the two intersect, while working to increase Queer Gaels' participation in community, culture, heritage, sport and education. It also showcases the contributions of Queer Gaels and Queer Islanders.
