About
ParaPride works with social venues, public spaces and online platforms to create inclusive events and social opportunities for LGBTQIA+ people living with disabilities, mental health conditions, chronic health conditions and impairments. It also runs training and workshops to help venues and public spaces become more aware of the challenges this community faces. As an empowerment charity, it advocates for the visibility, education and awareness of LGBTQIA+ disabled people, and carries out research to address the lack of inclusion disabled people can face within the LGBTQIA+ community, while promoting celebration of diverse bodies.
