ParaPride is an empowerment charity advocating for the visibility, education and awareness of LGBTQIA+ disabled people. It works with social venues, public spaces and online platforms to create inclusive events and social opportunities for LGBTQIA+ people living with disabilities, mental health conditions and chronic health conditions.
The charity hosts events, workshops and research to address the lack of inclusion for disabled people within the LGBTQIA+ community, and to promote celebration of diverse bodies. It also provides training and workshops to help venues and public spaces become more aware of the challenges faced by the people it represents.
