About
Brighton Ourstory was a charity that collected memories and stories from LGBTQIA+ communities, preserving family albums and documenting how generations of gay people survived and thrived. It hosted exhibitions, talks and events to celebrate and document the history of Brighton's lesbian, gay and bisexual communities, and offered limited assistance to researchers. The organisation ceased operations in 2013.
