About
Scottish Workplace Networking for LGBT (SWAN) works to promote inclusivity and reduce discrimination in Scottish workplaces. It hosts business networking events focused on LGBTQIA+ people that are open to everyone, giving attendees a welcoming space to be themselves and meet others. Public, private and third sector organisations host these events for their own staff as well as for SWAN members and other guests. By supporting good practice on equality and diversity at work, SWAN helps build good relations between LGBTQIA+ people and others. It also represents LGBTQIA+ people at work through submissions, campaigning on public life and services, sharing best practice, and acting as a consultant.
