About
Based in Birmingham, this group supports LGBTQIA+ asylum seekers and refugees across the West Midlands. It runs group meetings, social activities, one-to-one support and advocacy, while also raising awareness of the issues its members face. A peer support buddy scheme helps new members settle in, offering friendship as they find their way in the Midlands. The group aims to help people through the asylum process, creating a space for connection and community while working to promote inclusion.
