About

HIV i-Base provides treatment information about HIV and AIDS to people living with HIV, their carers and healthcare professionals. It offers easy-to-read HIV treatment guides, a question and answer service, and reports on the latest HIV research. Founded in April 2000, it is a community-led HIV treatment advocacy project run by treatment activists, aiming to give timely and up-to-date information in plain language. The organisation is currently restructuring to address funding difficulties.
