About

Queer Futures Gloucestershire provides support services for the LGBTQIA+ community across Gloucestershire. It offers telephone, email and in-person support for LGBTQIA+ people and their family and friends, backed up by an information website. The charity also trains other organisations, carries out case-by-case interventions, and runs sessions in schools and colleges where students discuss homophobia, transphobia and the acceptance of LGBTQIA+ people. In Gloucester, a Saturday daytime group called GayGlos Youth meets for young people aged 14-18, alongside a separate group for parents, and the organisation engages strategically across different sectors. Overall, it brings together education, engagement, support groups, and help for young people, parents and volunteers.
