About
Ark-T Centre is a community arts charity based in Oxford, working mainly in the East Oxford area. It uses arts and creativity to support the mental health and wellbeing of local people, including children, young people, adults, people living with disabilities, neurodivergent people and LGBTQIA+ people. Its programmes are co-created with the community and shaped by ongoing listening, so they can respond to local needs, with the aim of building confidence, resilience and a sense of belonging. The centre runs activities such as community lunches, creative wellbeing workshops and exhibitions, and it welcomes volunteers alongside encouraging community consultation.
