About this event
Join Lee for a 13km (8 mile) fairly flat walk down the picturesque River Ouse at York. This walk will take us along the river where we'll make a stop by The Riverfront in Bishopthorpe where you can buy some food or drink or munch on your packed lunch. We'll then head down river and stop at a pub about half-way round the walk. After which we'll loop inland, across fields and the racecourse.Although not part of the walk, if anyone wishes to stay and go to a pub in York for food, there will be that option.Well-behaved dogs are welcome on this walk.If the event is fully booked: please join the waiting list as people frequently drop out during the week before an event and you are likely to get a place on the walk.Your First OutdoorLads Event?We know that new members in particular like to know in advance more about what an OutdoorLads event will be like.
