About this event

Join James on this lovely 7 mile day walk around Llanthony Priory with superb views of the Brecon Beacons and the Black Mountains. Llanthony is a partly ruined former Augustinian priory in the secluded Vale of Ewyas, a steep sided once glaciated valley within the Black Mountains area of the Brecon Beacons National Park in Monmouthshire. Setting off from nearby the ruins of Llanthony Priory our route encircles the beautiful Eywas Valley and climbs up to Offas Dyke, from where far reaching views of England and Wales open out to the Malvern Hills and Black Mountains. Glimpses of the priory below are seen all along the way. Photo Credits: All photos taken by OutdoorLads Members and permission is granted to OutdoorLads for further use.
