About this event
Join Stephen Turner on a 10 mile walk from the sleepy seaside town of Grange Over Sands in South Cumbria Highlights of the walk will be: • Starting from the railway station then walking up through the woodlands on a steep ascent onto the hills above Grange, • Walking on the hills to Hampsfield Hospice – a folly and great vantage point for views across Morecambe Bay and the South Cumbrian fells, • Meander along the ridge then through Allithwaite, • Pick up the path to Humphrey Head a peninsula jutting out into Morecambe Bay, • Make our way back along the marshes to Kents Bank, • Walk along the promenade back to Grange, • Then have a post walk tea/coffee at one of the genteel cafes in the centre of town Image / photo credits: All leader's own images - with permission for OutdoorLads to use and reuse.Are you new to Outdoorlads and considering your first event?
