Please note: This activity - although it looks fun - means you will not be at the AGM meeting as it clashes timewise. If you come on this event, please ensure you have voted by proxy in advance. The AGM will be recorded so you can always catch up later! (And yes... we booked this before we decided on a morning AGM, but hey ho... :-)This event is intended for attendees of BIG20: THE Celebration EventA fantastic underground adventure caving trip in a disused Lead Mine for the more adventurous! This is a relatively dry trip, and you'll be stood more upright, but with some tighter sections to give challenge along the way. You'll explore lots of interconnecting passageways - a real feeling of getting lost, but you'll be safe really!You will also be looking at some cave formations and the different mining techniques used to extract lead in days gone by, whilst squeezing and climbing through the many tunnels.
