Come and join us for a weekend break in Liverpool, and enjoy fun times exploring the city!Liverpool is a vibrant maritime city in North West England, renowned as the birthplace of The Beatles, a powerhouse of football culture, and a hub of rich industrial history. Situated on the Mersey Estuary, it features UNESCO-listed docks, diverse cultural attractions, stunning architecture, and a lively, welcoming atmosphere. Liverpool is the most filmed city outside of London, recent productions filmed here include Batman, Captain America, Sherlock Holmes and Peaky Blinders.City breaks are less formal and structured than our usual hostel breaks, you’ll have free time or time to do the suggested activities below, but they are all suggestions. City breaks do not have the usual Friday night buffet, (and indeed no food or drink is included in the price) however places to eat as a group will be suggested, or you may wish do your own thing or break into smaller groups.Itinerary:Day 1: Arrive late afternoon on Friday, meet & greet reception before heading off out for dinner and drinks. (Exact restaurant location to be confirmed nearer event date)Day 2: Saturday morning, Optional Breakfast at the hostel before we head out for a walking tour exploring the city's maritime heritage. Please book through this link: Free walking tour of Liverpool | GuruWalk - Select Saturday 10th October - 10.30-1300.After the walk which ends at the Royal Albert Docks we will have time for lunch.Options for the afternoon include a trip on the ferry across the Mersey! There will be free time to explore the city with an optional visit to the Beatles MuseumIn the evening we will reconvene at the hostel before joining OutdoorLads social! Exploring the city's vibrant night life.Day 3: Sunday morning, Optional Breakfast at the hostel then free time before checkout - option of a visit to Liverpool Cathedral or the Walker Art Gallery, Or some adult crazy golf at Golf Fang LiverpoolAccommodationHostel accommodation - ensuite dorm rooms with bunk beds, which will only be shared with other OutdoorLads members attending the city break.Please note that unlike most of our other hostel events, food is not provided and we will not have sole use of the hostel.
